Celebrating Women in Winter Sports: DSG Outerwear Photoshoot

Photoshoot on the Michigan snowmobile trails with Jen Beckett, featuring DSG Outerwear and their snowmobile gear.

Last winter, I was so lucky to work with my friend and fellow small business owner, Jen Beckett. She is a brand ambassador for DSG Outerwear and their line of snowmobile gear. DSG stands for "Doing Something Great," and their by-women-for-women gear really is some of the best available on the market. This brand focuses on comfort and style, ensuring that women can feel confident while riding.

The shoot took place in the stunning Michigan Upper Peninsula, at Jen and her husband Tim’s motel and lodge, Two Rivers Motels & Cabins in Kenton, Michigan. It was a very snowy and cold day, perfect for hitting the trails. This area is known for its beautiful snowy landscapes, perfect for showcasing outdoor apparel. As soon as I arrived, Jen and her husband were eager to get out on the trails. And they had a welcome surprise for me - my own sled for the day!

With three outfit changes on the trail, the plan was to capture several action shots with Jen and her snowmobile out on the trails. The snow was fresh and crisp, setting a perfect backdrop. Each photograph captured not just the gear, but also the thrill of these snow machines. As Jen posed with her snowmobile, it was clear that the photos would tell a story. They would show the spirit of winter adventures and the joy of being outdoors. She truly represented what DSG Outerwear stands for: empowerment in outdoor sports.

The camera captured her energy and passion for snowmobiling. They show that gear made for women can perform just as well as any other. This photoshoot was not just about clothing. It was about celebrating women in outdoor sports. It was about showcasing strength, freedom, and the joy of exploring nature. Thanks for an awesome day outside, doing what you love!
